Our success has created abundant opportunity and we’re looking for fresh and intelligent new talent to join us as we continue to expand our operations.

The role is phone-based, with the majority of
outgoing calls to C-level executives with the goal of qualifying the leads, sharing IBISWorld’s value proposition, building relationships and booking webinars.

We operate a very successful and professional sales team with great emphasis on continuous improvement through knowledge-sharing, training and documented systems and procedures. We are serious about business development. Bring your attitude, your energy and your intelligence and you will be successful at IBISWorld.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage a pipeline and move prospects through the sales cycle
  • Proactive and outside-the-box thinking for ideas and strategies to build the client base
  • Develop and keep current on knowledge of products, trends and competitors in target markets
  • Proactive and thorough research on target industries and companies
  • Work autonomously and take ownership of your own activity and performance

  • Proven success dealing directly with clientele across a variety of industries, backgrounds and levels, especially C-level executives
  • Ability to manage an opportunity pipeline as well as tight deadlines
  • Experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM) strongly preferred
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize various responsibilities and deadlines
  • Flexibility to effectively deal with unexpected assignments and changes to workload based on management priorities
  • Ability to collaborate and work well with others, but also self-motivating and autonomous
