The Role

IBISWorld is looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer who can hit the ground running. As a part of our team, you will develop and maintain the company's websites and related back-end applications. This permanent, full-time opportunity is suitable for an experienced Developer who is ready to mentor colleagues and deliver results in a customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Strong ASP.NET Core/VB.NET/C# using Visual Studio 2015-2017
  • Strong SQL Server 2008/2014; understand triggers, stored procedures, etc.
  • Strong performance tuning experience
  • Experience with Web API and SSO
  • Experience with IIS 
  • Experience with unit testing 
  • Proficient with cross-browser HTML and CSS programming, JavaScript, JQuery and MVC/WebForms
  • Understanding of design patterns
  • Proven history working the full project lifecycle of the web development process from client requirement gathering through to testing and documentation
  • Experience in an Agile environment would be beneficial
  • Ability to effectively translate business requirements into a technical design and transform that design into a working application
  • Ability to be flexible and work with non-technical stakeholders who often have limited technical knowledge
  • Commercial approach to development work; adhering to tight deadlines, being self-motivated in a multidisciplinary environment is essential
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
